The Thunderbards is a group of writers that get together and talk writing. Sometimes that means we discuss each other’s ongoing work, sometimes that means we work collaboratively, and sometimes that means we pretend to be therapists for each other when the writing process inevitably leads to hardship. But simply put, we’re just some people who love to write, and decided to make this website/blog/portfolio/diary/whatever as a way to quickly access some writing we’ve done as well as share with whoever may be intereseted.
Daniel Quintana
Hey, how’s it goin’? My name is Daniel Quintana. I usually write upper middle grade fantasy, though I’ve been known to dabble with other ages and genres. I’m an elementary school teacher, writing whenever my students are at lunch or my two sons finally go to sleep. I tend to write about very mature and/or heavy themes, but packaged in a way that kids can relate to.
Some Favorite Books: The Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo is an all-time favorite, The Neverending Story by Michael Ende blew my mind when I was young, and I love anything in Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere.
